Large Frameless Rooflights UK – Manufactured & Installed

At a glance example rooflight prices.

The Blade frameless rooflight is a bespoke product which can be manufactured to any size you need. Ofset also supply larger jumbo sized rooflights up to 6000mm x 3200mm in one piece glazing. Please enquire for a bespoke quotation info@ofset.co.uk

For clarity we give three ‘relevant’ sizes so you can understand the Blade rooflight product and what you are getting for your money. The ‘hole in the roof’ size is as you see the rooflight from the inside of the building. The ‘external kerb’ size is the measurement to the outside of the insulated kerb which all rooflights must be fitted onto. And finally the ‘actual product’ size is the measurement to the edge of the external floating top glass pane. These measurements do not include ‘finishings’ such as roof coverings and plaster.

The Blade Floating Rooflight is larger externally then other standard roof windows due to its unique and beautiful design.

‘I am now the proud owner of six new Blade Rooflights for my new build. The purchase and installation have just been about the only parts of my new build that have gone smoothly. I found communication was frequent and personal and can thoroughly recommend this company’

your blade your design

Use our online tool to create your perfect Blade Rooflight. As you choose from all the options, you’ll see your Blade Rooflight changing visually and also have a constantly updated price on screen so you can tailor your Blade to your budget and specification.

1. Select your glazing

You can choose between 'Double-A' and 'Triple-K' Blades. Double-A is double glazed with Argon gas and 'Triple-K' is triple glazed with Krypton gas. The overall 'combined product' Ud-Values are from 1.1 and 0.8 respectively. Centre pane u-values are 1.0 w/m2k and 0.4 w/m2k. Triple glazed units are not necessarily the best option in our temperate European climate when you allow for solar gain.

2. Enter your dimensions

Double-A Blades can be manufactured up to 3.36 m2 internal 'hole in the roof' sizes (4.88 m2 external product sizes) and Triple-K Blades up to 2.0 m2 internal sizes (3.17 m2 external). For cost comparison against other products it's best to compare external sizes as that reflects the 'actual product' size.

3. Select your frame colour

All Blades are painted to a minimum 60 microns for long term colour fastness. There is no extra charge if you choose from one of the six RAL colours below and only £100 extra if you choose an alternative standard RAL colour.

6. Optional bolt-on extras

Solar control glass bounces away heat from direct sunlight. Acoustic glass will reduce excess noise, although even our standard units will dampen sound extremely well as you have a super thick 10mm top glass pane. If you are concerned about additional security then you can change the bottom glass panel to toughened/laminated glass which can be up to 12.8 mm thick, the best in the business. Double and triple glazed units can give you a 'greeny' tint. Low iron glass helps reduce this affect and also for areas where there is low light it will allow more natural light to enter the building. If you do not require any of these optional extras simply click next.

7. Do you need a prefabricated insulated kerb?

All flat rooflights should sit on an insulated kerb with a minimum 5 degree pitch.
Order a ready made kerb below or create one yourself. Its your call.
